Electric Vehicle Car Show

Sep 26, 2021 , 2:00 pm 4:00 pm

Join Climate Reality Project Bellingham Chapter for an Electric Vehicle (EV) Car Show! On Sunday, September 26 from 2 to 4 p.m., Commercial Street in downtown Bellingham will become the place to learn about the electric car transformation! The EV Car Show will feature at least six different electric cars, each of which will be presented by its driver. This event will provide interested individuals the chance to learn about and compare various cars, and to see why EV owners are the most enthusiastic car owners anywhere!

This event is sponsored by the Climate Reality Project’s Bellingham Chapter, the Mt. Baker Chapter of the Sierra Club, and by the Bellingham Friends Meeting.  It is also a featured component of the series of events comprising National Drive Electric Week.

The EV Car Show will showcase a variety of electric cars currently in use in the Bellingham area. Each car will be accompanied by its owner, who will informally answer questions about the car and help attendees to learn about the specific benefits and features of each particular car. Because the cars are displayed by their owners and not dealers, it will be a purely informational event, not a sales event.

The event is free and open to all.  It will take place on Commercial St. between Holly and Magnolia, regardless of weather conditions. COVID-safe participation is required. Food and beverages will be available at nearby eateries, and prizes will be awarded!

This event is part of the City of Bellingham’s ALL IN for Climate Action Week. Find a full list of events.
