Moved by her love for Earth and her grief over the climate crisis, Dr. Andrea Asebedo has led the Center for Spiritual Living to lower their carbon footprint. She will tell her story and of how implementing Sustainable Connections’ recommendations impacted her community’s energy efficiency. Dr. Asebedo is joined by Emily Larson Kubiak of Sustainable Connections and Mark Schofield of the Community Energy Challenge. Emily will provide information about the CSL energy audit and share stories of other faith community energy projects. Mark will focus on concrete steps individual homeowners can take to enhance their energy efficiency. Rev. Bobbi Virta and Noman Tim Burnett will provide opening and closing reflections.
