Jun 23, 2022 , 5:30 pm 7:30 pm

Join the City of Bellingham for an Open House to learn about the first phase of our Padden Creek 24th to 30th Streets Restoration Project, which we are constructing this summer. Stop by the Fireplace Room in the Fairhaven Library any time between 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 23 to view project materials and ask questions.

Padden Creek 24th to 30th Streets Restoration Project is a multi-phased project to improve water quality and aquatic functions in Padden Creek between 24th and 30th Streets in the Happy Valley Neighborhood. Construction of Phase 1 is expected to begin in mid-to-late July 2022, with earthwork wrapping up by October 2022. We will continue to plant native plants through March 2023. Construction impacts to traffic and nearby homes will be minimal.
