Volunteer Opportunity: Community Work Party at Sehome Arboretum with WWU LEAD

The Arboretum is being eaten alive by invasive English Ivy and Himalayan Blackberry! Come help save this stately forest with Whatcom Million Trees Project (WMTP) and WWU’s Learning Environment Action Discovery (LEAD) student organization.

All ages and abilities welcome. Participants under age 14 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Tools, gloves, and instructions are provided. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. 

This event will follow current health department guidelines and safety protocols. Additional information and reminders will be emailed to registered participants. If you sign up, please show up!
