Habitat Photos Monitoring and Prize Drawing

Sep 10, 2022 Sep 18, 2022

Take photos at two of the City’s habitat restoration sites during Whatcom Water Week to help us monitor how these sites are maturing over time! Your photo submissions through our Habitat Photos project help us document the progress of the Padden Creek Daylighting and Squalicum Creek Re-route Phases 1 & 2 projects, which were constructed in 2015 to improve water quality and fish passage.

Prize Drawing

During Whatcom Water Week, we will have additional educational signs at the sites and a prize drawing for a $50 gift card to a local native plant nursery. To enter the prize drawing, please include the email address habitat@cob.org when you submit your photo entry at one of our two Habitat Photos sites. There are signs at each photo station describing how to capture and submit photos. All photos are automatically and anonymously added to a timelapse video.

Everyone can enter the prize drawing twice during the week – once at each site.
