Our colleges and universities are a big part of our community. That’s why we’re taking the Bellingham Plan to them. Our May event at Western Washington University will cover the full range of Phase 2 topics\, including welcoming newcomers\, off-campus housing affordability and transportation\, economic opportunities\, and how we grow as a city over the next twenty years. This event is open to anyone associated with Bellingham colleges and universities. \n\n\n\nThis event will be held at Western Washington University in the Viking Union MPR from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.\, and you can arrive any time in that window. It will be held as an open house event\, with staff available to answer questions or discuss areas of interest. Construction will begin on the Meador Bridge first and all traffic will be detoured over James Street Bridge.
