Want to be impressed? Come take a walk through the trails at Samish Crest!
40 amazing volunteers worked relentlessly on Saturday to make the Racine St. entrance look its best.
Thanks to their hard work this past Saturday, 10 yd3 of invasive plants were removed, 10 yd3 of mulch was spread, and 1 yd3 of litter was removed from the Samish Crest Open Space. By weeding out some invasive Himalayan Blackberry and Yellow Archangel, we will help our native plants enjoy more room to grow.
Feeling pumped to attend one of our work parties to restore habitat?
Join us this next Saturday, April 13th as we remove more Himalayan Blackberry adjacent to the pump track at Birchwood Park. Or if you really want to express your love for native plants through action, register now for our big Earth Day Community Work Party happening on April 20th and help us transform habitat near the Squalicum Creek Re-route project.

Is this on Galbraith mountain? Is it easy to avoid trails for the cyclists?
