The 2011 Annual Overlay Program aims to maintain existing streets to protect the initial investment in the street and to ensure an adequate quality driving surface for mobility and public safety.

Northridge Park Design and Construction Phase II

Phase II development of Northridge Park consists of the following: Internal connections, connections to the surrounding neighborhood, Boardwalk to Magrath and parallel parking on Magrath. Also site restoration and planting.

Northridge Detention Pond Retrofit

Northridge Detention Pond Retrofit project originally started as a storm water treatment enhancement project to be constructed on a city parcel along Barkley Blvd.

Sunset Drive Reconstruction Phase II

This project widens Sunset Drive from 2 lane to 5 lanes, including a two-way, left-turn lane; two bike lanes; sidewalks on both sides; and bus pullouts. The project is roughly 0.8 miles long and extends from Woburn Street to McLeod Road.

2007 Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation

This project will replace existing manholes and restore sanitary sewers to near new condition through the use of trenchless technology and open cut methods in various neighborhoods.

Northridge Park Trail

2005 construction of a new trail through Northridge Park connecting Tanglewood to Woodside Way.
