This project will replace existing manholes and restore sanitary sewers to near new condition through the use of trenchless technology and open cut methods in various neighborhoods.

2007 Annual Overlay and Storm Improvements
This project is part of an annual program that aims to maintain existing streets to protect the initial investment in the street and to ensure an adequate quality driving surface for mobility and public safety. Streets will be pulverized & resurfaced.
Holly Street Bridge Rehabilitation
This project is intended to rehabilitate the abutmemts and deck of the Holly Street Bridge crossing Whatcom Creek. This will be accomplished using "jet grouting" technology to limit disturbance to the creek bed.
Railroad Avenue-Depot Market
Depot Market Square is a dynamic project that includes a large pavilion structure and two sheds on an existing parking lot. The project includes street improvements including new street and pedestrian lighting, roadway resurfacing, bicycle racks.
Environmental Learning Center
Classroom and public restrooms at Maritime Heritage Park. Technically difficult site over former landfill.
Whatcom Creek Trail
A three-mile trail that runs along Whatcom Creek from Maritime Heritage Park to Bloedel Donovan Park.
