Whatcom Creek Trail Racine to Fraser
This project includes a new quarter-mile trail connecting the trails on the north side of Whatcom Creek to Fraser Street and the Civic Athletic Complex to the south. This includes a new bridge crossing Whatcom Creek, wetland creation & enhancement.
Fraser and Puget Street Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements
Project includes construction of curb, gutter and pervious sidewalk on one side of Puget Street between Fraser Street and Gladstone Street. Improvements will also include bicycle lanes on both sides of Puget Street, adjacent to the Civic Field complex.
Civic Athletic Complex Skate Park Addition
2006 construction of a new skate park street course/beginner area adjacent to the existing skate park on Puget Street.
Fraser Street Improvements
This bicycle and pedestrian project includes roadway improvements on Fraser Street from Lincoln to Puget Street. Enhancements include adding two bike lanes, sidewalk, street lights and storm drainage infrastructure.
Civic Athletic Complex Civic Stadium Track
This project included resurfacing and re-striping the running track and pole vault areas.
