TBD-Funded Intersection Projects

To provide improved safety for pedestrians at key intersections in the City, the Transportation Benefit District board approved funding for improvements at six intersections.

2012 Sewer Rehabilitation – EU-0156

The 2012 Sewer Main Replacement Program is part of an annual program to replace, repair, and improve the City's sewer system to extend the useful life of the existing system by 40 years or more. Cornwall Park; Roosevelt; Sunnyland and Alabama Hill.

Yew Street Pedestrian Safety Improvements

New 5-foot wide sidewalks will be constructed on the west side of Yew Street from Alabama to Texas. ADA curb ramps will be installed at Yew/Alabama and Yew/Texas intersections. Marked crosswalks with ADA ramps will be installed across Yew at Texas.

2009 Neighborhood Traffic Calming is the annual program to introduce traffic calming measures for increased safety for motorized and non-motorized traffic. Neighborhoods: Letter Streets, Columbia and Roosevelt.
