The project enhances pedestrian and bicycle safety by constructing curb extensions and ADA accessible curb ramps, improving lighting at intersections, resurfacing the street and adding shared lane markings for bicycles and vehicles.

This project consists of replacement of the existing 8-inch 1914 & 6-inch 1918 cast iron water main on Forest St between Rose & York Streets. The project also consists of pavement resurfacing on Forest St & installation of bulbouts at key intersections.
