ALL IN for Climate Action Week Event Calendar

Climate Action Week 2022 Events

Join the Bellingham community for a week of activities between September 19-25, 2022, with a kickoff event hosted by the City on Sunday, September 18. All Climate Action Week events will be listed on this page when event details are received from hosts.

This year’s Climate Action Week theme is Inspiring Community Action Through Climate Conversations.

Climate change affects every person and entity in our communities. Last year alone, our home experienced a debilitating heat wave, poor air quality from wildfire smoke, and devastating flooding – events that were all intensified by climate change. These events were unprecedented in the ways they struck our communities. In some instances, they forced us to adapt and rebuild. And although the ways in which we each experience climate change may look different, these experiences leave us with something in common – stories. Whether stories of hardship or stories of hope, we likely all have experiences to share about climate impacts and solutions.

During this year’s ALL IN for Climate Action Week events, we invite our community to share, learn, and have conversations about individual experiences with our changing climate and local solutions so that we can learn from one another. It is through these conversations that we can inspire meaningful and lasting climate action in our community.
