The Irrigation System Best Management Practices highlights 13 focus areas to optimize maintenance and operation of irrigation systems while conserving water.
Irrigation Controller Rebate Program
You can save water and money at your home or business this summer when you switch to a WaterSense labeled weather-based irrigation controller. Weather-based irrigation controllers use local weather conditions to determine when and how much to water, making watering more efficient. In fact, replacing a standard clock timer with a WaterSense labeled irrigation controller can save an average home nearly 7,600 gallons of water annually.
The City of Bellingham’s water conservation rebate program offers up to $75 in rebate for irrigation customers who choose to replace an existing irrigation controller with a WaterSense labeled weather-based controller.
To receive a rebate application, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 360-778-7800.
