Más información a continuación. \n\n\n\n\nEvent Details in English\nThe City of Bellingham is seeking public input to guide how our community manages and enhances urban trees and forests. An urban forest includes everything from street trees\, parks and forested open spaces to private trees. Community input will help create the City’s first Urban Forestry Management Plan (UFMP)\, a strategic plan for maintaining and enhancing a healthy and desirable urban forest. The input received will be used to develop the plan’s vision\, goals\, and priority strategies.  \n\n\n\nThe community is invited to share input on Bellingham’s urban forest during an in-person open house event on Sunday\, May 15 at the Bellingham Public Library downtown at 210 Central Avenue. Stop by any time between 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ASL and Spanish interpretation will be provided. The whole family is welcome – child-friendly activities will be available. \n\n\n\nLocation\n\n\n\nThis event will be located in the Lecture Room on the 1st floor of the Bellingham Public Library – Central Library location at 210 Central Ave. There is street parking near the building. Parking downtown is free on Sundays.  \n\n\n\nAdditionally\, there are bus stops located next to the Central Library. To find your bus route\, use Whatcom Transportation Authority’s (WTA) online Trip Planner. You can find a map of bike routes at cob.org/bike.  \n\n\n\nAdditional Feedback Opportunities\n\n\n\nYou can also provide feedback at a virtual open house on Wednesday\, May 18 or through our Engage Bellingham UFMP Project webpage which includes a survey\, interactive map tool\, and video.
