Bellingham Whatcom Public Facilities District Board Meeting

Sep 18 (Thursday) , 12:00 pm 1:30 pm

*SPECIAL MEETING* This meeting will be held at the Walton Theatre (located inside the Mount Baker Theatre), 104 N Commercial St. and is anticipated to be a bit longer than a regular meeting.

The Bellingham-Whatcom Public Facilities District (BWPFD) was created in 2002 as a joint effort between the City of Bellingham and Whatcom County.  The BWPFD’s mission is to fund a regional center that will increase economic prosperity and lay a foundation for further public and private investment in our community. A “Public Facilities District” (PFD) is an independent municipal taxing authority created solely to fund facilities that encourage or enhance economic development within a regional core area.

They meet four to six times a year in the City Council Boardroom (unless otherwise specified on agenda) located on the 2nd floor of Bellingham City Hall. Please note elevator access to the second floor is available at City Hall’s west entrance. For additional accommodation, contact the Planning and Community Development Department in advance of the meeting at (360) 778-8345
