The event opens at 5:30 p.m., giving attendees time to grab a drink and snacks and settle in before the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. Mayor Kim Lund and her leadership team will discuss what we are working on related to downtown, and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to the panel. Community members are encouraged to attend and engage in shaping the future of our vibrant neighborhood. Thank you to the Downtown Bellingham Partnership for hosting this event!

Structures Brewing – Old Town is open to all ages.

*Dress for the PNW’s unpredictable weather. Optional beer/wine/cider/non-alcoholic options and Structures Brewing’s full food menu will be available for purchase, though not required for attendance to this free community event.

This event is the second of a new series intended to give community members a chance to learn what’s happening in the City. A third session is scheduled for August 19 in North Bellingham, with more details to come. At these events, you’ll hear updates from City departmental leaders and have an opportunity to ask your questions and have them answered in real time.

This community event will replace the May meeting for the Mayor’s Neighborhood Advisory Commission. This is an in-person event – no remote/hybrid options will be available.
