Volunteer Opportunity: MADD and Arbor Day Community Work Party at Whatcom Falls Park – Fall 2025
Oct 25 (Saturday) , 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join the City of Bellingham and the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association (NSEA) as we care for a beloved local park at our annual Make a Difference Day and Arbor Day community work party! Together, we will plant native trees and shrubs and remove invasive weeds along Whatcom Creek to improve water quality, recover downstream salmon habitat, and restore our forests for wildlife.
All ages and abilities welcome. Participants under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Tools, gloves, and instructions are provided. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
