Language Access at City Council Meetings

The Bellingham City Council provides Spanish interpretation at all regular evening meetings for both in-person and online attendees.

  • In-person attendees: Interpretation headsets are available for in-person attendees and are located near the main entrance to Council Chambers.
  • Online attendees: Remote viewers can log on to cob.org/cczoom and click on the “Language” icon at the bottom of the screen to listen in Spanish.

To request interpretation in another language, including American Sign Language, email us at ccmail@cob.org or call 360-778-8200. You may also request interpretation for committee meetings (daytime meetings).  We make every effort to provide interpretation upon request, but we may not be able to provide services for requests made less than three business days before a meeting.

Find Council meeting agendas and videos in Spanish below. To change the audio of the recordings to Spanish, click the globe icon on the bottom of the screen (see screenshot below).

To request any other Council materials in another language, please contact ccmail@cob.org or call 360-778-8200
