A press conference is scheduled for 2:30 pm at the City Council Chambers at Bellingham City Hall.

This conference is being convened to discuss the arrest of a city of Bellingham employee that worked at the Arne Hanna Aquatic Center.  This particular 54 year old man has been arrested for criminal violations related to internet crimes against children and is currently in Whatcom County Jail.

During the internet related criminal investigation it was revealed that this man utilized his access to the pool staff changing area to videotape adult female city employees.  The arrestee admitted to this act and tells us that he started this voyeuristic behavior about one year ago and that it is limited to four adult female employees.

Mayor Kelli Linville and Police Chief Clifford Cook will be speaking at the conference to provide details about the circumstances and the ongoing investigation.
