The City of Bellingham offers the following incentives to encourage sustainable development and projects that implement community goals for affordable housing, infill development, environmentally-friendly projects and historic preservation.
- Affordable Housing
- Infill Toolkit (cottages, townhomes, and other traditional and innovative housing types)
- Multi-family Tax Exemption Program: Get an 8, 12, or 20 year property tax exemption on the residential value of new multi-family construction.
