Join the more than 1 billion people worldwide who celebrate Earth Day each year! Below is a list of family-friendly activities offered by the City of Bellingham in celebration of our planet. Earth Day is Tuesday, April 22.

Earth Day Community Work Party at Squalicum Creek

Saturday, April 25, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Squalicum Creek Re-route site
Join us for a community work party at the Squalicum Creek Re-route restoration project site. Together, we will remove invasive plants to improve habitat and help water quality in Squalicum Creek. Tools, gloves, coffee, and snacks are provided. All ages and abilities welcome. A registration link will be shared here soon.

Earth-Themed Children’s Storytimes

Multiple dates
Storytimes during Earth Week will be focused on nature and earth themes! Join the Bellingham Public Library for one of these events at the Central or Bellis Fair branches. Check back later for the April schedule.
