Citizens of Bellingham are invited to submit their park name ideas via e-mail, regular mail, or drop their idea in the wooden suggestion box in the Parks and Recreation Administration Office at 3424 Meridian Street, Bellingham, WA  98225. The City of Bellingham Parks and Recreation Department is accepting park name ideas until the end of business December 31, 2016. The City Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will select from the pool of suggested names a park name and recommend it to the Bellingham City Council for final adoption early 2017. (PAR 01.00.01).

The City acquired the new 20 acre park in 2015 with voter approved Greenways 3 Levy funds.   The park is located on the east side of Cordata Parkway between Stuart and Horton Roads, in the Cordata Neighborhood.  The park master planning process is currently underway.
