Lifeguard Training Courses
Learn how to effectively prevent and respond to water emergencies. Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED, Administering Emergency Oxygen, and Bloodborne Pathogens Training. Students must be at least 15 years old and complete a swimming pretest prior to enrolling.
Registration closes 5 days prior to the start of class. A minimum of 4 registrants is required.

Water Safety Instructor Course
Are you 16 years or older? You can become a Water Safety Instructor and help save lives by teaching skills that will keep all ages safe in, on, and around the water. This course is led by an instructor and includes an online pre-course. The online pre-course will open two weeks prior to the course start date and must be completed before the first day of class. Course materials can be accessed on the Red Cross website once you have registered and paid for the pre-course.

Lifeguard Instructor Course
Upon successful completion, you will be certified to instruct basic level Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED, Emergency Oxygen Administration, Bloodborne Pathogens Training, and Basic Water Safety courses. Students must be at least 17 years old, have current certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED, complete the swimming and rescue pretest and complete an online pre-course.
Registration closes 14 days prior to the start of class. A minimum of 4 registrants is required.

Dates: Saturday-Sunday, June 3-4
Times: 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
Lifeguard Review Course
The Review Course includes wet and dry skill sessions, videos, short lectures, and written tests. You will receive certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED upon successful completion. To enroll in this class, you must present your current certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED to the instructor at the start of the course. You must take the full Lifeguard Training course if your certification is more than 30 days expired.

Lifeguard Instructor/Instructor Trainer Review Course
In 2017, the American Red Cross changed the recertification requirements for LGIs and LGITs. In addition to teaching a full or review lifeguard course, you must now complete an instructor review course. Sign up now!
