We offer bulk water stations to customers for use on construction sites, hydro excavation, or as a portable water source for pressure washing, irrigation, dust control and more. This water is non-potable; available 24/7.
Get Started
- Contact a Public Works Cross Connection Control Specialist at (360) 778-7700
- Set up your bulk water account with a Bulk Water Use Application
- Schedule and complete a vehicle inspection and training session: (360) 778-7700
- Receive your user account access, PIN, and completed copy of your application.
This bulk water brochure also outlines the process.
Connecting
To connect your receiving vessel to our filling station, you’ll need:
- An approved air gap on the supply piping to your vessel. This air gap must be twice the diameter of the supply piping measured vertically from the outflow of the receiving vessel, and in no case be less than one inch, when unaffected by vertical surfaces (sidewalls).
- Vessels must fill from the top.
- 2.5″ female NH – our bulk water stations have a 2.5″ male NH threaded connection.
- 25-foot hose (recommended) for filling, rated at least 200 psi.
The video below also outlines what kind of equipment is needed.
Billing
Customers will be billed monthly if water is used; charges are based on volume only. A first bill will include a $25 activation fee, and delinquent fees will be applied for late or non-payment.
