Bellingham Parks and Recreation is seeking an organization or individual to lease the building which formerly housed the preschool at Bloedel Donovan Park, 2214 Electric Avenue in Bellingham.
The building was constructed in the late 1950s and remodeled into a preschool in 1980. The Parks & Recreation Department ran a preschool program in the building from 1980 to August 2015. The building is now vacant and the Department would like to find a lessee for the building that would provide a benefit to the public and be compatible with public park use. Rent will be negotiated based on fair market value for the intended use of the space.
Interested parties are encouraged to submit a letter of interest by 5 p.m. on February 29, 2016.
