Friday May 19th is Bike to Work and School Day! Members of the Bellingham Police Department's Neighborhood Anti-Crime Team will be hosting a station again this year. The NACT team began hosting a station last year, and have dubbed it the “Bacon Station.” Why the Bacon Station? Because officers will be serving up Hempler's bacon, Rocket Donuts and Woods Coffee from 6:30 to 11:00! The Bacon Station will be in the front parking lot of the Bellingham Police Department, located at 505 Grand Ave. Officers will also be providing information in regards to bicycle safety and theft prevention.
