Bellingham Parks & Recreation has completed renovation of the existing wood trestle just south of Boulevard Park.
This project included the construction of a trail connection from the main trail through Cordata Park to Meadowbrook Court. The park area includes approximately 27 acres of green space, wetlands, a regional detention facility, and critical habitat areas.

Phase II development of Northridge Park consists of the following: Internal connections, connections to the surrounding neighborhood, Boardwalk to Magrath and parallel parking on Magrath. Also site restoration and planting.
Park development at Little Squalicum will occur in multiple phases. Major arterial roads near the site include Marine Drive and Eldridge Avenue. The site is served by a major urban trail and comprises part or the regional Bay to Baker Trail corridor.
