The Parks and Recreation Department and the Greenways Advisory Committee (GAC) are pleased to announce an updated strategic plan.
The Greenways Strategic Plan (the Plan) recommends funding priorities for Greenways levy funds in three categories: property acquisitions, development, and maintenance. The Plan improves consistency with the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan, describes the objectives of the program, and integrates priorities into the biennial budget. The December 12, 2022, Final is now available.
Funding
The Plan was completed in-house as a collaboration between Parks Dept. staff and members of the Greenways Advisory Committee. Projects included in the Plan may use Greenways levy funds in addition to grants and other Parks funding sources.
