Description
Bellingham Parks & Recreation Department is conducting an
investigation, with Ecology supervision, of a State cleanup site that will
affect services at Boulevard Park. Portions of the property at South
State Street near Bay View Drive may be contaminated from previous
industrial uses. The investigation will include soil, water and
sediment sampling.
Funding
State Remedial Action Grant: $3,425,000
Greenway Levy III and private funds: $3,425,000
Status
Engineering design is currently underway.
