A fully-wooded, small plateau and accompanying hill in the Geneva area cover the two-acre LaPlant Preserve which is split by Lake Louise Road. A seasonal stream and utility corridor border the Preserve on the north, and the remaining boundaries are forested vacant lands. The parcel functions as a buffer between the road, uphill development, and the stream, which flows directly into Basin Two of Lake Whatcom.
