Salmon Enhancement is Climate Action Presentation

Join in a dialogue with Rachel Vasak, the Executive Director of the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association (NSEA), as she delves into NSEA’s efforts to reverse the decline of wild salmon in Whatcom County while intertwining these initiatives with the broader realm of climate action. NSEA is a grassroots nonprofit with a presence spanning over 30 years in Whatcom County. We educate, inspire, and engage the community to take action to keep wild salmon here for future generations.

This presentation will encompass a comprehensive overview of NSEA’s multifaceted programs focusing on education, restoration, and stewardship. It will expand on the intrinsic connection between salmon enhancement and climate action, shedding light on how bolstering salmon populations also contributes significantly to our environmental resilience.
