Beach Walk at Birch Bay

Sep 27, 2023 , 10:00 am 12:00 pm

Meet Garden of the Salish Sea Curriculum (GSSC) staff members at Birch Bay State Park and walk with them down to the intertidal zone to learn about the organisms there, their importance to the ecosystem, and how action can be taken to conserve them. One of the most important aspects of GSSC’s mission is battling climate change through the education of youth and the public on practices and daily habits that counteract climate change and conserve the earth and the ocean.
