Let’s Talk About Electric Vehicles
Sep 22, 2022 , 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Join the Climate Reality Project Bellingham Chapter for this virtual event to learn about a new Bloomberg study announcing a tipping point suggesting an increased adoption rate for electric vehicles (EVs). The second part of the presentation will be about dispelling anti-EV myths. After the presentation we will break out into separate conversations with EV owners so you can learn more about their cars. These Q and A conversations will rotate so you have the opportunity to visit each break out room.
There will be a BONUS breakout room to have conversations about Electric Bicycles too!
Our presenter is Climate Reality Leader, Bill Trueit. Recently retired as a public-school teacher of history, geography, English, U.S. Government, and photography, he now plans to be more involved in the environmental movement. Although a generalist in many areas regarding the climate crisis, Trueit has specialized in electric vehicles and is a member of the policy team for the Electric Vehicle Association.
This is a free virtual event hosted on Zoom. Please register in advance.
