ALL IN for Climate Action Week

Each year, the City of Bellingham organizes Climate Action Week as an opportunity to celebrate the knowledge and resources our community has to offer when looking for solutions to address global climate change at the local level. The week is full of events within Whatcom County hosted by individuals, groups, organizations, businesses, and governments that want to help Bellingham achieve its climate action goals.

Climate Action Week 2023 – September 22-30

Join the City and our community for our 5th annual Climate Action Week between Friday, September 22 and Saturday, September 30. The City will be hosting a free, all-ages closing event on September 30 with support from many local organizations.

The 2023 Climate Action Week theme is Leading with Collaborative Solutions.

We can make the greatest impact when we work together, whether by partnering on projects and events locally or sharing knowledge and inspiration with communities across the world. The most meaningful climate change solutions result from collaborating with and learning from one another.

This year, we encourage event hosts to consider ways that their events can promote collaboration and information sharing, highlight existing partnerships, or form new ones. This could look like providing opportunities for event participants to network, sharing climate solutions or stories from other communities, or co-hosting your event with other organizations. Contact us at all-in@cob.org if you’d like to learn about any event hosts looking for a sponsor or partnership for their event.
