Climate Action at WWU: A Walking Tour

Sep 23 , 1:00 pm 3:00 pm

Join a tour highlighting recent climate action initiatives on Western Washington University’s campus. Come along as we celebrate student leadership, operational innovations, curricular offerings, and bio-regional partnerships. We will end the tour with a short exercise that supports participants in imagining their next climate action steps based on elements that resonated from the tour.

Accessibility notice: This tour spans about a mile of campus, part of which includes dirt paths and staircases. For accessibility accommodations, please contact sustain@wwu.edu.

This tour is open to all community members to enjoy.

This event is cohosted by WWU’s College of the Environment, Salish Sea Institute, Sustainability Engagement Institute, and Transportation Services.

Location

The tour will begin at the Performing Arts Center (PAC) Plaza (between the Viking Union & Performing Arts Center), on the north side of the Western Washington University campus.

Western is located at 516 High Street, Bellingham, Washington, 98225.
