On Saturday, we set a new Rock Hill Park record with 82 amazing volunteers who showed up ready to rock & roll at our Community Work Party! Together, we:
✅ Removed 10 cubic yards of invasive species like Himalayan Blackberry and English Ivy
✅ Planted 45 native trees and shrubs
✅ Spread 4 cubic yards of mulch
✅ Cleared out 2 cubic yards of trash
Special thanks to the York Neighborhood Association for their continued care of this hidden gem, to Woods Coffee for delicious coffee, and to everyone who joined us on this sunny winter day. 🌞
🌳 Want to join the fun? Help us remove more invasive plants next Saturday, February 1, at Forest & Cedar Park near WWU! Register now at www.volunteerbellingham.org.
Every one of our work parties is made possible thanks to funding from the Greenways Levy. 💚
