The Shoreline Committee will typically meet prior to a Planning Commission meeting, and only when necessary.
Meeting agendas and supporting materials are posted approximately one week prior to the meeting date. The location (or online zoom webinar information) can be found by opening the event date you are interested in attending.
The Committee reviews applications related to those areas within the City that will impact the shoreline. They make recommendations to the Planning Director.
When necessary, meetings are typically held on the first or third Thursday at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Meetings last approximately 30-45 minutes. Time spent outside of meetings requires a minimum of one hour for preparation.
The Shoreline Committee is comprised of three Planning Commission members. Due to the fact that they only review proposals that are dealing with specific shoreline jurisdictions, they will typically meet prior to a Planning Commission meeting, and only when necessary.
