Old Fairhaven Parkway Street Lighting

This project consists of installing new street lights along Old Fairhaven Parkway as part of a biannual program to upgrade street lighting. Approximately 6,000 linear feet of new conduit, wiring, fiber conduit for signal communications & 34 street lights

2007 Annual Overlay and Storm Improvements

This project is part of an annual program that aims to maintain existing streets to protect the initial investment in the street and to ensure an adequate quality driving surface for mobility and public safety. Streets will be pulverized & resurfaced.

Post Point Alernative Outfall

The installation of a new 54-60 inch diameter pipe to replace the current 30-inch diameter secondary outfall that is in need of replacement. The new pipeline will follow an existing 30 inch secondary outfall from the plant, under three sets of BNSF tracks

Whatcom Creek Trail Racine to Fraser

This project includes a new quarter-mile trail connecting the trails on the north side of Whatcom Creek to Fraser Street and the Civic Athletic Complex to the south. This includes a new bridge crossing Whatcom Creek, wetland creation & enhancement.

Woburn and Alabama Intersection Improvements

Project includes construction of two new turn lanes on Woburn Street, at the Alabama Street intersection as well as traffic signal modifications. Treatment of storm water from Woburn St corridor by using rain garden. Pocket park with Roosevelt Association
