The Federal Building, located at the corner of Magnolia and Cornwall Avenue, is listed on the Washington Heritage Register and the National Register of HIstoric Places. The work includes installation of a larger, code-complaint elevator, etc.
On July 13, 2004, the BWPFD purchased real property at 216 Grand Ave, Bellingham, as the future site of the proposed 36,000 square foot Art & Children's Museum. Groundbreaking ceremony took place on August 2, 2007.
