The Flynn Street Water Quality improvement project will transform Flynn Street between Electric Avenue and Lakeside Lane to provide stormwater treatment for Flynn Street near Lake Whatcom.
The 2009-2010 Sewer Replacement project consists primarily of replacing manholes and restoring sanitary sewer lines to near new condition through the use of trenchless technology and open cut methods in portions of seven neighborhoods.
This project consists of replacement of the existing 8-inch 1914 & 6-inch 1918 cast iron water main on Forest St between Rose & York Streets. The project also consists of pavement resurfacing on Forest St & installation of bulbouts at key intersections.
The Bay and Holly Street intersection, referred to the "gateway" to the Arts District, will be reconstructed to include a plaza, seating, lighting, landscaping and artwork. Water line on Bay Street will be replaced.
This project consists of installation of a water main on Cornwall Avenue between Chestnut Street and W. Illinois Street, and on Halleck Street between Cornwall Avenue and New Street.
Northridge Detention Pond Retrofit project originally started as a storm water treatment enhancement project to be constructed on a city parcel along Barkley Blvd.
