Lorraine Ellis Park Playground Renovation

Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce that planning and design for a new playground for Lorraine Ellis Neighborhood Park has begun. The existing playground equipment, installed in 1990, is tired and weather beaten; it does not comply with safety standards for public playground equipment, and lacks ADA access.

This project will provide this neighborhood new, unique, fun, safe, and accessible, play opportunities for neighborhood tots.

Anticipated park facilities include: tot lot, ADA access ADA; picnic table, benches, bike racks, park signage, park name sign, and trash receptacle.
