Middle Fork Spring Open Space Trail

The Middle Fork Spring Open Space Trail project is a multi-use trail to connect Cordata Park to West Stuart Road and Meridian Street. The trail will be approximately 1,300 linear feet and consist of crushed limestone boardwalk segments. Additional elements include a sidewalk extension and entry from West Stuart Road. This beautiful 12-acre open space area was purchased with Greenways levy funds in 2022. The site is relatively flat and contains wetlands and the headwaters of Middle Fork Spring Creek.

A future phase may include design, permitting, and construction of a multimodal boardwalk trail connection within the West Stuart Road right-of-way to a trail near the southwest corner of the property.
