Adaptive Recreation

Bellingham Parks and Recreation offers community members of all abilities recreational, social and athletic opportunities. The programs are a great way to meet new people, improve athletic skills or just have fun while focusing on respect, acceptance, and inclusion. Everybody is welcome so make sure to let your family, friends, and neighbors know!

Pre-Registion is required unless otherwise noted.

Gang Ball

Dates/Location: Mondays, December 2-16
Time: 4 – 6 p.m.
Location: Bloedel Donovan Community Building
Age: 12 and older
Cost: Free!

Sensory Friendly Sundays

Dates: Sundays, October 6 and December 8
Time: 1 – 3 p.m.
Location: Cordata Park Pavilion
Age: 18 Months – 16 years old, with an adult
Cost: Free!

Spin Dances

Dates/Location: Mondays, Sept 16 and Oct 21 at Depot Market Square.
Mondays, Nov 18 and Dec 16 at Bloedel Donovan Community Building
Time: 6 – 8 p.m.
Location: Bloedel Donovan Community Building or Depot Market Square
Age: 14 and older
Cost: Free!
