The 2009-2010 Sewer Replacement project consists primarily of replacing manholes and restoring sanitary sewer lines to near new condition through the use of trenchless technology and open cut methods in portions of seven neighborhoods.
The project involves the installation of a prefabricated restroom building and the renovation of an existing playground in Whatcom Falls Park.
This annual overlay program consists of the resurfacing of existing city streets. This year the project includes installation of approximately 20,000 tons of hot mix asphalt will occur over 5 miles of existing roadways.
